Dylan Hotel
With the 11-foot ceilings in the guestrooms, the Dylan offers visitors luxury in a Zen-like atmosphere. The walls are painted in cream and mauve tones, the carpeting is deepest amethyst and the furniture is ebony stained. All of these elements combine to create relaxed surroundings. The bathrooms are just as elegant as the rooms. Chrome bath fixtures from Italy, white Carrara cut-marble and bowl-style sinks resting on multicolor granite slabs adorn them. The Virot is the hotel's innovative French Restaurant, owned by Didier Virot, who earned acclaim as the executive chef at Jean-Georges. Located in the former ballroom, the Virot serves exquisite food in an elegant atmosphere. The six-foot high stone fireplace and the 20-foot coffered ceilings lend the restaurant an aura of coziness. The Mezzanine Bar, also located in the hotel, is a wonderful place to enjoy cocktails. |
