Hudson Hotel
This hotel was built in 1928 and has a private courtyard garden. Its style seeks to convey the feeling of a modern urban oasis. The surreal design of the lobby features a unique mix of avant-garde, contemporary to classic furnishings. The theme of the captivating guest rooms is one of stark contrasts, with contemporary furnishings and appointments set against a backdrop of warm woods. The in-room art and photography displays and modern furniture are a perfect example of form following function. The hotel's restaurant features an open kitchen with both counter seating and a stained glass freize while the brightly lit bar has an illuminated glass floor vaguely reminiscent of disco days. The ceiling is a computer-manipulated Franceso Clemente image. A stay at this hotel offers a unique experience to be enjoyed by all. |
